Effective date: TBD — pending legal review
Draft — placeholder content. These terms are a working draft pending legal review and are not legally binding. Final terms will be published before any paid transactions are processed.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you register for a race, we collect registration information required by the race director (age, gender, emergency contact). We do not store full payment card numbers — payments are processed by our payment provider.
We use your data to provide the Racello service: processing registrations, sending transactional emails, enabling race day tracking, and posting results. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We share your registration information with the race director for the events you register for. We use third-party services (email, payment processing, hosting) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
Race results are public by default. Your name, finish time, and placement may appear on public results pages and be indexed by search engines. Contact us if you need results removed for a specific reason.
We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. Sign-in is passwordless — we use magic links and OAuth providers (Google, Apple) to authenticate you without storing passwords.
You can delete your account at any time from your security settings, which will soft-delete your personal data. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to correct inaccurate information by contacting us at privacy@racello.app.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising tracking cookies. Basic analytics may be collected to improve the product.
We will notify you of material changes to this policy. Your continued use of Racello after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
